The Great Seal of Queen Victoria

This photograph of the Great Seal of Queen Victoria is possibly related to a photograph of that description which was exhibited by Talbot in Birmingham in 1839 (see Class 1, Image 1).  For more information on that exhibition see Larry Schaaf’s blog post dedicated to it.  The seal shows Victoria enthroned between the allegorical figures of Religion and Justice.
