The engraving is a copy of an oil painting of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal.  The original oil painting dates from 1842 when she was two years old and is held by the Royal Collection Trust (inventory number RCIN 403056).  There are no known salt prints from this calotype negative.  There are no known salt prints from this calotype negative.
