This object is part of Schaaf no. 644

Copy of a print by J. M. Burbank, head of a cat

This photographic copy of a print of a cat is probably related to, but not exactly the same as a lithograph by D. W. Kellogg & Co. of Hartford, Connecticut.  The lithograph is entitled, "A Favourite Cat" and dates from 1830 to 1842.  J.M. Burbank was an artist who exhibited animal studies in the 1830s in Britain.
