Two open windows in the Tudor Courtyard, Lacock Abbey

Location: Lacock Abbey

This view of the Tudor Courtyard was taken from an upper window.

The latticed window that has been left open belongs to the pulpit room, which later became Matilda Talbot’s bedroom. The same window, also open, can be seen from a different angle in Schaaf numbers 1091 and 5073.

There is no known positive print extant, or known to have been made from this negative. A virtual digital positive image has been generated for the purposes of this project.
