The view photographed here shows the inscription dedicated to the memory of Mary Ann Hooper. It’s not known when Mary Ann was born, but sadly she died on the 22 March 1809 aged only 18 months. Her parents, Robert Hooper (died 1826) and Rebecca Hooper (died aged 84 years on 29 June 1863) are buried in the same tomb. Mary Ann’s two brothers are also buried alongside their parents. Robert Hooper died in 1830, while Charles Hooper died the same year he was born in 1818.
