This photograph of the Tuileries was taken from the Nantes hotel where Talbot stayed and is discussed in a blog post by Édouard de Saint-Ours. The view was taken at a time when the Louvre was being joined with Tuileries as shown in a panoramic view shown in the blog. The Tuileries Palace was destroyed in a fire in 1871.
