This photograph of the North aisle of the Louvre was taken from the Nantes hotel where Talbot stayed and is discussed in a blog post by Édouard de Saint-Ours. The view is very similar to Schaaf no. 1446 and was taken at a time when the Louvre was being joined with Tuileries situated to the right of this particular view as shown in a panoramic view in the blog.
