The photographer of this image has yet to be identified for certain. At the moment it is tentatively attributed to either the Reverend Calvert Richard Jones or the Reverend George Wilson Bridges.

It is known that Bridges did visit Sicily, but it's not certain that Jones ever did.  However for stylistic reasons Jones has not been excluded as the photographer until the evidence proves otherwise.
