Equestrian statue of King William III, outside the Bank of Ireland, Dublin

Location: Dublin

The statue of King William III (also known as William of Orange) is by Grinling Gibbons (1648-1721). It was erected on College Green in Dublin in 1701. Badly damaged in the early hours of Armistice Day, 11th November 1928, it was eventually removed in 1929.
