The copy is probably a lithographic engraving. The original artwork the lithograph is after is an oil painting by Hermann Winterhalter. The original painting is held by the Royal Collection Trust (inventory number RCIN 406400) and dates from 1845. The engraving and Talbot's photograph of it must have been made some time after.
