This is a photographic copy of an oil painting "The Madonna and Child with White Rabbit" held at Lacock Abbey, itself a copy of Corregio's (c.1489 – 1534) celebrated painting of a "La Zingarella" (Gypsy Madonna). A similar copy, is also held by the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath and is attributed to Willes Maddox (1813-1853).
