Attributed to: Nicolaas Henneman, William Henry Fox Talbot
The ornate frame is decorated with acanthus leaves and is surmounted by a bird. The frame contains an advertisement for its maker, the eminent wood-carver, William Gibbs Rogers (1792-1875). The frame seems to have been made (fecit) in 1847.
